Biography:
Eureka Plastic Surgeon Elliott Gagnon was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He attended Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and graduated with honors in Anthropology. Dr. Gagnon completed medical school at the Oregon Health Sciences University, graduating with honors in 2001. He was then selected to enter the highly competitive 6-year combined Plastic Surgery training program at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond. During his time there, Dr. Gagnon was awarded the S. Dawson Theogaraj Scholarship Award for achieving the highest score on the Plastic Surgery In-Service Exam. During his residency, Dr. Gagnon traveled to Guatemala with the surgical mission group Operation Kids, performing cleft lip and palate repairs in children.

Dr. Gagnon lives in Eureka with his wife and two children. During his free time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and exploring the beauty of Humboldt County with his family
